About the position

The Front Desk Clerk at Concord Hospitality plays a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality experiences to guests. This position is centered around guest interaction, requiring a proactive and caring approach to service. The clerk is responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing concerns, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at the hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally at all times.
  • Maintaining a high level of service and hospitality.
  • Promptly and effectively dealing with guest concerns or issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Posting guest charges, collecting payments, and following cash handling procedures.
  • Handling guest mail and messages with respect to privacy and professionalism.
  • Being knowledgeable of the hotel brand and various programs, including travel programs and special offers.
  • Communicating effectively with various departments and management regarding guest comments and concerns.
  • Responding quickly to incoming calls, lobby visitors, and team members needing front desk assistance.
  • Having full knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle cash and follow cash handling procedures.
  • Proactive and responsive attitude towards guest needs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with hotel management software.
  • Multilingual abilities.
