As a Front Desk Clerk at the Courtyard Pittsburgh Greensburg, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience during their stay. In this role, you will be expected to maintain a high level of service and hospitality at all times. This includes promptly addressing guest inquiries, managing reservations, and ensuring that all guest requests are fulfilled in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for handling financial transactions, including posting guest charges and collecting payments, while adhering to all cash handling procedures. Your ability to communicate effectively with guests and other departments will be crucial in ensuring that any issues are resolved quickly and satisfactorily. Additionally, you will need to be knowledgeable about the hotel’s amenities, services, and local attractions to provide guests with accurate information and recommendations. Safety is also a priority, and you will be required to have a thorough understanding of hotel safety and emergency procedures. Responsibilities

  • Assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally at all times.
  • Maintain a high level of service and hospitality.
  • Promptly and effectively deal with guest concerns or issues and ensure all are met to satisfaction in a timely manner.
  • Post guest charges, collect payments, and follow all cash handling procedures as required by Concord.
  • Handle guest mail and messages with respect to privacy and professionalism.
  • Be knowledgeable of the hotel brand and various programs (travel programs, special offers).
  • Communicate effectively with various departments and management on guest comments and concerns.
  • Respond quickly to incoming calls, lobby visitors, and team members needing front desk assistance.
  • Have full knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures.

Requirements

  • Passion for serving others and providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and local attractions is a plus.
