About the position

The Front Desk Coordinator at The Joint Chiropractic is a pivotal role that combines customer service, sales, and administrative responsibilities to ensure a smooth operation of the clinic. The Front Desk Coordinator will be the first point of contact for patients and members, providing them with excellent service and support. The role requires a proactive and self-motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting patients, checking them in for their appointments, and managing the flow of patients through the clinic. You will also handle phone calls, educate patients about wellness offerings, and participate in marketing and sales initiatives to attract new patients. The Front Desk Coordinator will utilize point of sale software to complete transactions and ensure that all patient accounts are accurate and up-to-date. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer service orientation, and the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks efficiently. You will be expected to maintain the cleanliness of the clinic and your workspace while upholding The Joint Chiropractic's core values of trust, integrity, excellence, respect, and accountability. Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent services to members and patients.
  • Gaining memberships to meet sales goals.
  • Greeting members and patients upon arrival and checking them in to see the Chiropractor.
  • Answering phone calls and re-engaging inactive members.
  • Staying updated on membership options, packages, and promotions.
  • Recognizing and supporting team goals and maintaining positive relationships with team members.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the clinic and organization of workspace.
  • Confidently presenting and selling memberships and visit packages.
  • Keeping management apprised of member concerns and following manager's policies, procedures, and direction.
  • Willingness to learn and grow, accepting constructive criticism positively.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • At least one year of previous sales experience.
  • Strong phone and computer skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks.
  • Strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills with members and patients.
  • Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Office management or marketing experience.
