About the position

The Front Desk Evening Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service and serving as a communication link between programmers and front desk staff at Rise Indoor Sports. This role ensures that customers are enrolled in their desired programs, billed accurately, and that the facility's rules and regulations are enforced. The manager oversees the front desk operations during evening shifts, trains staff, and maintains a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce rules and regulations of Rise Indoor Sports.
  • Train others on the current CRM at Rise.
  • Ensure every participant pays daily, monthly, or league fees as required.
  • Oversee the front desk staff during each evening shift.
  • Manage check-in and cash-handling procedures at the front desk.
  • Assist Program and Event Directors with tasks as needed.
  • Answer the phone and provide excellent customer service.
  • Read and learn information provided by Management and Directors to serve as a communications expert.
  • Ensure programmers keep the calendar updated and provide good information to the Front Desk Staff.
  • Work 4-5 days per week to ensure consistency in Front Desk operations.
  • Keep the Front Desk clean and organized.
  • Walk the building regularly to ensure rules are followed and monitor for safety.
  • Ensure cleanliness of facility and property on a daily basis.
  • Set up courts for facility programming upon arrival.
  • Prepare an outline of activities for night staff to ensure understanding of onsite programs.
  • Serve as a problem solver to maximize court space access for paid participants.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge and love of sports offered at the facility.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Management experience.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and general computer skills.
  • Customer service and/or management experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associates Degree or Administrative Assistant Certificate.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
