About the position

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who love engaging with people to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charleston North. This position is for Front Desk Evening/Overnight fill-in roles, where you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to greet, welcome, and engage with guests, ensuring they have a pleasant experience from check-in to check-out. You will assist guests with reservations, provide recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, and address any concerns or compliments they may have. Our goal is to exceed guest expectations, and we achieve this by hiring the right people who embody our values of True Hospitality. The hours for this position are flexible, as we create our schedule a month in advance based on your availability. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2 years of hotel experience in a front desk or guest service position.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests.
  • Problem-solving skills to address guest issues and enhance their experience.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills, along with computer proficiency.

  • Experience in hospitality or customer service roles.
