The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jacksonville Riverfront is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Guest Services Agent to join our team. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and committed to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Guest Services Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. Your role will involve a variety of administrative tasks, as well as addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay. In this position, you will greet guests upon arrival, making them feel at home and valued. You will administer check-ins and check-outs, assign rooms, and handle various administrative duties to ensure the front desk operates smoothly. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering mail and messages, processing guest payments, and coordinating with bell service and other staff members to meet guest needs. Your ability to provide information on local attractions, transportation options, and dining recommendations will enhance the guest experience. Conflict resolution is a key aspect of this role, as you will need to diffuse any tense situations with guests and accommodate their unique requests. Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management software.
  • Customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with grace.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role.
  • Knowledge of the local area and attractions.
  • Multilingual abilities.
