About the position

The Hotel Front Desk Manager at Boardwalk Beach Hotel & Convention Center is responsible for overseeing the front desk operations, ensuring adherence to customer service standards, and managing the front desk team. This role involves coordinating with other departments to maintain guest satisfaction, managing budgets, and responding to guest feedback. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships while maintaining professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the front desk team to ensure adherence to customer service standards and performance benchmarks.
  • Conduct monthly front desk meetings.
  • Prepare weekly schedules and forward them to the General Manager and Security Department.
  • Conduct annual employee evaluations.
  • Work a minimum of two full front desk shifts weekly.
  • Perform all Front Desk Agent duties, including collecting and filing guest documentation and payments.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other departments to ensure all guest needs are met.
  • Pull and distribute the condo occupancy reports weekly.
  • Help create and manage the department's monthly and annual budgets.
  • Manage guest supplies inventory within the budget.
  • Update internal systems and guest documents with the latest property information as needed.
  • Make special preparations for all VIP arrivals.
  • Perform any other job duties as requested by the superior.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 3 years of guest service experience in a hotel/condo environment preferred.
  • At least 2 years of management experience required.
