About the position

The Front Desk Manager at The Villages Gym is responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing front desk operations in a lively boutique medical fitness studio. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is an early riser, as the position involves greeting clients and ensuring a welcoming environment before the gym opens. The manager will oversee client check-ins, maintain cleanliness, and assist with various administrative tasks while contributing to the gym's growth and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Cheerfully and professionally greet every client as they arrive and leave.
  • Check in clients on the appointment booking system.
  • Keep the weight room clean and organized.
  • Wash, dry, and fold towels every shift.
  • Blend smoothies for clients.
  • Clean the kitchen area.
  • Sell products using the gym's platform.
  • Communicate necessary information to the next shift.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in supervising or managing a team.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Food safety certification is a plus.
