Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
  • Check patients in and out for appointments according to company policy and procedures.
  • Schedule appointments for new and existing patients efficiently.
  • Manage referral processes and insurance verifications.
  • Collect payments and maintain accurate patient accounts in the EMR system.
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare patient charts and documents in a timely manner.
  • Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance in all interactions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to register patients accurately in an EMR system.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not required.
