About the position

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic team at Remedy Rheumatology. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient service, manage administrative tasks, and ensure a smooth flow of operations in our Rheumatology private practice clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage patient schedules, appointments, and records accurately.
  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, confirmation calls, and mail distribution.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
  • Provide phone etiquette and 10-key typing skills to handle high volumes of calls and data entry.
  • Familiarity with medical clinic procedures and patient service standards.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a healthcare clinic setting, preferably in a front desk or administrative role.
  • Experience with phone systems and Epic preferred.
  • Strong patient service skills and ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Customer service experience of 1 year (Preferred)
  • Medical terminology experience of 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer skills experience of 1 year (Preferred)
