About the position

The Front Desk Night Auditor is responsible for managing guest registrations, processing payments, and ensuring the accuracy of nightly revenue reports. This role involves communication with management and staff, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining the cleanliness of common areas. The position requires excellent organizational skills and a positive attitude to effectively respond to guest needs and concerns.

Responsibilities

• Process guest registration, including posting of payment due
• Close out of the night audit after ensuring all revenue is in balance
• Perform nightly backup of server
• Communicate to management and desk staff of all pertinent shift information
• Perform all arrival and departure procedures
• Provide information about hotel, restaurant, lounge, and casino
• Respond to guest concerns/needs in a timely manner
• Maintain room status inventory
• Maintain and clean lobby/common areas as needed

Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Basic knowledge of hotel operations
• Entry-level experience in hospitality or customer service
