About the position

The Receptionist at Ridgeline Management Company plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. This part-time position focuses on greeting guests, managing phone communications, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the reception area. The role requires a pleasant demeanor and the ability to assist with various tasks while supporting the community's mission of joy and wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Greets all visitors, gives tours and assists as needed.
  • Answers the telephone in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Monitors resident activity and alerts staff when assistance is necessary to assure residents' safety.
  • Monitors community guest and visitors' entrance/exit in accordance with community policy and procedures.
  • Assures that lobby area, reception area, and entry area is kept clean, neat, and orderly.
  • Displays mature behavior and attitude in speech and action; demonstrates consistently pleasant demeanor, tone of voice, supports the mission statement and approach to care used by the community.
  • Maintains an acceptable attendance record; notifies supervisor if late or unable to work in accordance with personnel policies; follows the assigned work schedule.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and a pleasant demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Basic computer skills for managing phone and visitor logs.
