About the position

The Holiday Inn and Suites in Liverpool is seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist/Night Auditor to join our team. This position is crucial in ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and memorable experience during their stay. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing their needs, and providing exceptional customer service. The role requires a commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and adherence to dress code standards. The Front Desk Receptionist will begin and end their shift as scheduled, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. In addition to greeting guests, the Front Desk Receptionist will engage in conversations with them regarding their stay, ensuring that all their needs are met. This includes taking note of the current stock of items at the front desk, assisting in restocking when necessary, and notifying management when items need to be reordered. The role may also involve handling small transactions for guests or staff, ensuring that all financial dealings are conducted accurately and securely. During downtime, the Front Desk Receptionist may be required to assist with cleaning public areas, which includes light vacuuming, disinfecting surfaces, cleaning spills, and reorganizing stock on display. This aspect of the job is essential in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. The Front Desk Receptionist will also be expected to perform any other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the hotel operations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and accommodate their needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • 1 year of customer service experience (preferred).
  • 1 year of hotel experience (preferred).
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish (preferred).

Nice-to-haves
