About the position

URM Stores, Inc. is looking for a professional and energetic Part Time Front Desk Receptionist to work 12:00pm - 4:30pm Monday - Friday, who will be responsible for greeting, assisting, and providing direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization. Our ideal candidate is confident, enthusiastic, and very organized, has exceptional people skills, a dynamite phone-demeanor, and a passionate, positive personality! You’ll be flexible, eager, and be willing to chip-in wherever needed including taking on various administrative tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Full knowledge of phone console and ability to handle multiple lines & extensions as the calls come in.
  • Act as a Corporate Ambassador for URM with the public, vendors, and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Grant visitor access into the building and monitor visitor log sheet.
  • Create new hire and visitor badges.
  • Responsible for scanning any support documentation for our Accounting Department.
  • Responsible for cash drawer reconciliation to accounting on a monthly basis.
  • Provide support to Human Resources Department for employee engagement activities.
  • Maintain and ensure the cleanliness/organization of the lobby to include but not limited to: coffee station, and other supplies as needed, plants, chairs and tables.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-years with proven track record of successful: Administrative Support, Customer Service, or reception front desk experience.
  • Professional demeanor, keen social awareness skills with developed interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with all parties involved with our business.
  • Must have high-level of integrity, dependability, and a strong work ethic with a keen sense of urgency and results oriented approach.
  • Pleasant and kind phone voice, with the ability to speak clearly and correctly.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into results.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness and ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
