About the position

As a Front Desk Receptionist at LA Fitness, you will be the first point of contact for members and guests, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Your primary responsibility will be to greet visitors, assist with inquiries, and ensure that all members feel valued and appreciated. This position is part-time and requires working weekends, with shifts lasting approximately four hours. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the club, contributing to the overall health and safety of the environment. Additionally, if you have experience working with children, you may have the opportunity to provide babysitting services in our Kids Klub, enhancing the club experience for families. This role not only offers a chance to earn a competitive hourly wage starting at $11 but also provides opportunities for commission earnings based on performance. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome members and guests as they enter the club.
  • Assist with inquiries and provide information about club services and amenities.

  • Provide babysitting services in the Kids Klub for members with children, if qualified.
  • Promote club services and programs to members and guests.
  • Process payments and manage cash register operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in customer service or sales is a plus.
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills for managing membership systems.
