The Service Advisor/Front Desk Receptionist at Pburg Auto Repair plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery. This position involves preparing detailed repair orders, maintaining customer relationships, and managing administrative tasks while providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed repair orders by identifying symptoms, problems, and root causes, as well as outlining necessary repairs and services.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships by explaining repair estimates and expected timelines.
• Obtain customer approval for repairs and provide timely updates.
• Answer customer questions and address concerns.
• Arrange for towing services and temporary transportation when needed.
• Greet customers as they enter the building, providing friendly and professional assistance.
• Serve as the face of the company, offering exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.
• Input customer information into the management database system accurately.
• Handle filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as requested.
• Collect payments from customers to close invoices promptly and accurately.
• Manage incoming calls from customers and vendors, transferring them appropriately or taking detailed messages.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable about car repairs and confident in delivering exceptional work.
• Experience using Mitchell 1 or similar software systems.
• Customer-focused and detail-oriented.
