About the position

The SureStay Plus Hotel is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with exceptional customer service and ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and registering guests, responding to inquiries, and providing information about hotel policies, services, and local attractions. You will be expected to handle reservations, process payments, and run the night audit, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. Additionally, you will assist with breakfast duties, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for our guests. Your friendly demeanor and willingness to assist will help foster a welcoming environment. You will need to be familiar with room availability and rates, as well as local dining and entertainment options, to effectively assist guests. This position requires a proactive approach to customer service, as you will be expected to anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to their requests. We are looking for an energetic individual who enjoys interacting with people and is comfortable taking on responsibilities. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling, with shifts available during the day, evening, and night. Responsibilities

  • Greet, register, and service guests in a friendly and courteous manner according to hotel standards.
  • Provide information to guests about hotel policies, services, and amenities.
  • Respond to requests from guests for assistance and information about the local area, including directions and dining options.
  • Sell rooms to walk-in customers and quote room and rate availability for current and future dates.
  • Enter and change reservation information in the computer system.
  • Process payments from guests accurately and efficiently.
  • Run night audit to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Handle breakfast duties to ensure a pleasant dining experience for guests.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately.
  • Familiarity with hotel reservation systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
  • Energetic and friendly demeanor to create a welcoming atmosphere.

  • Experience in a front desk or receptionist role.
