As a Receptionist at America's Best, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for greeting and welcoming them in a friendly manner as soon as they arrive at the store. Your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth flow of customers through the store while maintaining organized patient records and assisting with patient scheduling. You will provide prompt and courteous service to customers, whether they are visiting in person or calling on the phone. This position is integral to our operations, helping to keep everything on track and ensuring that our customers have a positive experience from the moment they enter our store. In this role, you will ensure high-quality customer service while adhering to all safety protocols. You will be responsible for answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls according to National Vision protocol. Additionally, you will process and understand managed care plans, obtaining necessary documentation from insurance companies as needed. Your duties will also include scheduling and confirming appointments, follow-up visits, and classes, as well as filing patient records daily and preparing files for the next day's appointments. You will check order statuses and notify customers of any delays, ensuring that the reception area remains tidy and presentable with all necessary materials. You will also handle daily mail and deliveries, maintain an inventory of office supplies, and participate in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings.
