Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated, smart, and efficient Front Desk Receptionist / Case Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming environment for our patients, managing patient cases, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic's front desk. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in case management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, greeting them in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Efficiently manage incoming calls, including answering patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and redirecting calls as necessary.
  • Oversee and manage patient cases, particularly those involving workmen compensation and federal injury cases, ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained and readily accessible.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals and staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain an organized appointment calendar.
  • Process patient paperwork, including registration forms and medical histories, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Assist in the management of patient billing and insurance claims.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment for all patients and visitors.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Receptionist, Case Manager, or similar role in a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and case management processes, especially related to workmen compensation and federal injury cases.
  • Strong educational background in healthcare administration, case management, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
