About the position

The Front Desk Receptionist will provide essential administrative support to both clients and staff, playing a crucial role in ensuring an excellent clinical experience for all involved. This position is located in Washington, DC, and offers a pay range of $16 to $18 per hour for full-time employment. The receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients, greeting them upon arrival and notifying the appropriate staff members. In addition to greeting patients, the receptionist will be responsible for answering, screening, and routing incoming calls, as well as scheduling appointments efficiently. The primary responsibilities of the Front Desk Receptionist include managing day-to-day duties, providing HR and payroll support by addressing employee needs and messages, and assisting with scheduling over the phone when necessary. The receptionist will also help enroll new clients and support various office activities. This role is vital for the smooth operation of the site, working closely with the Program Manager or Director to ensure that site goals and objectives are met consistently on a daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual basis. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting. While an Associate's degree or a Certified Medical Assistant certification is preferred, relevant years of experience will also be considered. The ideal candidate will demonstrate versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to adapt to constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, including word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures, is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements
