About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Fancy's Pets. This pivotal role serves as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent phone etiquette, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service, particularly in a dynamic dog setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check in and out dogs for grooming and boarding services.
• Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and answer questions related to dog grooming and boarding while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
• Utilize Google Suite for document creation, scheduling, and communication.
• Support office management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including personal assistant duties for management.
• Communicate effectively with both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking clients to enhance customer service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Familiarity with office management practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) is a plus.
• Organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Experience as a Grooming or Boarding Receptionist/Management is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable to better serve our diverse clientele, but not required.
