About the position

The Front Desk Receptionist at Bear Paddle Services plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service to families, ensuring a fun and engaging experience while also driving sales for swim lessons. This position serves as the main information hub for all offerings at Bear Paddle, which includes assisting families with tours, enrolling new students, scheduling classes, and addressing any inquiries. The receptionist is expected to embody the values of safety, fun, and results-driven service, creating a welcoming environment for both customers and team members. In this role, the Front Desk Receptionist will maintain a safe, secure, and clean environment, ensuring that all interactions reflect the high standards of Bear Paddle's customer service. Effective communication is key, as the receptionist will engage with families via phone, email, and in-person, providing them with the necessary information about programs and services. Additionally, the receptionist will be responsible for completing prospect leads and sales calls to boost student enrollment, as well as performing daily operational duties in alignment with the Quarter Curriculum, which focuses on specific weekly objectives. The Front Desk Receptionist will report directly to the Swim School Manager and the Customer Service & Sales Manager, working collaboratively to enhance the overall customer experience and contribute to the growth of the swim school.

  • Maintain a safe, secure, and clean environment
  • Ensure a positive working environment for customers and team members
  • Ensure quality Bear Paddle Customer Service and knowledge of all program offerings
  • Provide courteous and effective communication via phone, e-mail, and in-person
  • Provide tours and help to direct families throughout the facility
  • Complete prospect leads and sales calls to drive student enrollment
  • Complete daily operational duties while following the Quarter Curriculum with specific week by week focus

Requirements

  • Background check required
  • Consistent and reliable
  • Customer service and effective verbal communication
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends
  • 2+ years administration or sales experience preferred
