About the position

Our company is looking for a professional front receptionist to oversee all receptionist and secretarial duties at our main entrance desk. This role is crucial in ensuring that the first impression of our company is positive and welcoming. You will perform a range of duties including answering phone calls, managing the switchboard, and maintaining the office budget. The position requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently while providing excellent customer service. You will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, and your ability to communicate effectively and manage inquiries will be essential to the smooth operation of our office. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will greet guests and provide them with superb customer service. It is important to ensure that the front desk is neat, presentable, and equipped with all the necessary supplies such as pens, forms, and paper. You will be responsible for answering all client questions and incoming calls, redirecting phone calls to the appropriate department, and taking down messages when necessary. Additionally, you will accept all letters and packages, distributing them to their appropriate departments, and monitor, organize, and forward emails as needed. Tracking and ordering office equipment and supplies will also be part of your responsibilities, along with maintaining records and files and overseeing the office budget.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or relevant qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar role.
  • Good understanding of office administration and basic bookkeeping practices.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office programs.
