This position is crucial for managing the front office operations, ensuring smooth communication between patients and the practice, and handling various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental front office procedures, as well as proficiency in basic accounting and insurance billing management. The role requires a thorough understanding of dental and medical terminology, as well as experience with Dentrix software. The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for composing letters to explain reasons for appeals, resolving insurance claims and denials, and identifying problem accounts. The candidate will also be tasked with sending out monthly statements and following up with patients to arrange payments, ensuring that accounts are kept current. Additionally, the role involves updating patient account records with detailed actions taken and claim statuses, scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, and presenting treatment plans while discussing financial arrangements with patients. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential, as the receptionist will need to explain insurance coverage and provide detailed information to patients. The ability to multitask and make independent decisions is crucial, along with training in OSHA and HIPAA compliance. The candidate will also be expected to provide training assistance to new and existing team members, contributing to a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements
