About the position

Urology ASC of Phoenix - Perimeter is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist! Front Desk Receptionist needed for busy, single specialty ASC in Phoenix. United Surgical Partners International is a company that specializes in the development and operation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities in the U.S. and the UK. We provide first-class surgical services for local communities and recognize our employees as our number one assets.

Responsibilities

• Interface with patients and families, physicians, and staff
• Admit patients and process their paperwork
• Update patient demographics/information in the system
• Collect monies due and document in the billing system
• Handle funds per office procedure
• Answer incoming phone calls

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred
• Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment required to fulfill job duties
• Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required
• Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
• Bilingual preferred
• Good communication skills
