About the position

We are a multi-specialty dental practice located in Los Angeles, CA, seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be professional, well-organized, and possess a keen attention to detail. This role is crucial in ensuring that our patients receive the best service possible, and as such, we are looking for someone with an enthusiastic and friendly personality. The Front Desk Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our patients, and it is essential that they create a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. The core responsibilities of the Front Desk Receptionist include greeting patients as they arrive, answering multiple phone lines, and registering patients for their appointments. Additionally, the receptionist will be responsible for verifying insurance eligibility, making confirmation calls, completing patient referral forms, and scheduling patients accordingly. The role also involves scanning documents and forms into our computer software, ensuring that all patient information is accurately recorded and maintained. Fluency in both English and Spanish is a requirement for this position, as effective communication with our diverse patient base is essential. This is a full-time position with an expected work schedule of 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends. The pay range for this role is between $17.28 and $19.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
