About the position

As a Front Desk Receptionist at America's Best, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality service while adhering to all safety protocols. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate a smooth flow of customers through the store, ensuring that each individual feels welcomed and attended to. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, and your ability to manage this interaction effectively is vital to our success. In this position, you will be responsible for answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol. This includes processing and understanding managed care plans, as well as obtaining necessary documentation from insurance companies when required. You will provide customers with basic and accurate information, helping them navigate their needs efficiently. Scheduling and confirming appointments, follow-up visits, and classes will also be part of your daily tasks. You will be responsible for filing all patient records daily and pulling patient files for the next day's appointments, ensuring that all information is organized and accessible. Additionally, you will check order statuses and notify customers when their orders are in or if there are any delays. Maintaining a tidy and presentable reception area with all necessary materials is essential, as is receiving, sorting, and distributing daily mail and deliveries while keeping an inventory of office supplies. Participation in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings will also be required to stay updated on company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
