Serenity Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Receptionist for our Layton, UT office. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide an exceptional experience. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help in managing patient interactions effectively, leaving a lasting positive impression on everyone who visits our clinic. In this patient-focused position, you will be responsible for updating and verifying patient information upon each visit, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date. Building rapport with patients is essential; you will help them feel valued by remembering their names, interests, and personal stories. You will also address any questions or concerns they may have, demonstrating sensitivity to their individual challenges, especially as you may be working with patients dealing with PTSD and other trauma-related issues. The role involves rotating through various office tasks throughout the day, contributing to the overall efficiency of the clinic. You will be part of a team that is committed to providing compassionate support to our patients, ensuring that they have a positive experience during their visits. This position is contingent on successfully completing a criminal background check upon hire, and it offers opportunities for career advancement within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Update and verify patient information upon each visit.
  • Help patients feel valued by creating rapport, remembering their names, their interests, and stories.
  • Answer questions, address worries, respect boundaries, and be sensitive to each person's individual challenges.
  • Ensure a positive patient experience by providing support and compassion.
  • Rotate through other various office tasks throughout the day.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • 1+ year of full-time customer service experience, reception, or personal customer service industry.
