About the position

Dandy Acres is a bustling animal hospital looking for full-time team members for our growing hospital in South Lyon. Our front desk is the face of our hospital. We answer phones, greet clients, handle appointment flow, and conquer all general receptionist duties with warmth and grace. We take pride in our exceptional, compassionate customer service, as well as the high medical standards practiced by our entire team, for the puppies and kittens as well as the senior pets we care for. This role is perfect for those passionate about customer service AND pets. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be responsible for greeting clients in person and on the phone by name with a smile, every time. You will check in patients and work alongside nurses and doctors, scheduling and confirming appointments via phone, in-person, email, text, and our app. You will also handle and direct emails, faxes, and phone calls, as well as manage financial transactions after each appointment and at the end of the day. Additionally, you will assist with hospital cleanliness, as everyone in an animal hospital contributes to maintaining a clean environment. This position offers an opportunity for advancement, as we may train capable individuals into nursing roles over time. We are hospitality-focused, looking for energetic team players who are committed to carrying out the highest standards for every pet, every client, every time. If you are looking for an entry-level position in an above-the-norm hospital, a fun place to contribute, learn, and grow, all while loving on animals and our wonderful clients, then you've found us!
