About the position

The Front Desk Representative at iCare Health Solutions serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. This role involves managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records, all while optimizing provider schedules and enhancing patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients by scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
  • Answer telephone calls and inquiries from patients.
  • Optimize provider schedules to enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Communicate scheduling changes and updates to the Doctor and Office Manager.
  • Verify patient insurance records and obtain authorizations for services.
  • Maintain office inventory and equipment by ordering necessary supplies.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Working knowledge of computers.
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
