About the position

The Front Desk - Rooms Controller position at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood involves managing room statuses and ensuring accurate ratings of rooms under the direction of the Vice Front Desk Manager. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of the front desk operations in a fast-paced casino environment, providing excellent customer service to guests, and supporting the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and departmental policies.
  • Check out any vacant and clean rooms and change statuses of rooms in the rack.
  • Run alert date reports.
  • Review out-of-order and off-market rooms daily for validity.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest requests.
  • Respond to guests checking out via video check-out.
  • Offer bell assistance to each guest upon departure and run applicable reports to verify correct room rates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Previous front desk/hotel experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
