About the position

The Front Desk Sales Associate is a part-time role at a vibrant heated fitness studio, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales. This position serves as the first point of contact for members and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while managing front desk operations, promoting studio offerings, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members and visitors warmly and assist them with inquiries or requests.
  • Provide information about studio offerings, including class schedules, membership options, and pricing.
  • Assist clients with scheduling classes and other studio services.
  • Handle phone calls and emails professionally and promptly, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as needed.
  • Actively promote memberships, class packages, and retail products to clients and prospective clients.
  • Conduct sales consultations to assess clients' needs and recommend appropriate membership or package options.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk and throughout the studio.
  • Ensure that all studio supplies are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit card, and electronic payments.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining client records.
  • Build rapport with members and create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in the studio.
  • Provide personalized attention to members, remembering their names and preferences whenever possible.
  • Communicate studio policies and procedures to members and ensure compliance with safety and etiquette guidelines.
  • Solicit feedback from members and address any concerns or suggestions in a proactive and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using point-of-sale systems or booking software.
  • Knowledge of fitness or wellness industry trends and terminology is a plus.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours/week with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
