About the position

The Front Desk Supervisor at The Westin Monache plays a crucial role in managing the Front Desk, Bell, and Concierge operations. This position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, guiding the front desk team, and ensuring that company policies are implemented effectively. The supervisor acts as a representative of management in resolving guest issues and maintaining high service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the management team in overseeing all Front Desk, Bell, and Concierge operations.
  • Provide exceptional guest service and leadership to the front desk team.
  • Solve guest problems and implement company policy in the absence of management.
  • Ensure consistent service is provided to all guests.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent education required.
  • 1-2 years of previous Front Desk Agent experience or similar.
  • 1 year of experience in a leadership role in hospitality or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Lightspeed and GXP experience beneficial.
  • Marriott/Starwood experience beneficial.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one or group settings.
  • Basic cash handling skills required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Lightspeed and GXP systems.
  • Familiarity with Marriott/Starwood operations.
