About the position

The Front Desk Supervisor at Aloft Mountain View Hotel is responsible for overseeing the front desk operations, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction through effective supervision of staff and management of daily activities. This role involves training and coaching team members, responding to guest inquiries, and maintaining operational efficiency to create a welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the front desk staff, providing communication, training, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee daily operations at the front desk, including checking guests in and out.
  • Review group resumes for billing accuracy and ensure group details are met.
  • Coordinate with management for inventory and supply orders.
  • Respond to guest requests, concerns, and problems to ensure satisfaction.
  • Implement emergency training and procedures for safety and protection.
  • Comply with attendance rules and maintain regular availability.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Self-starting personality with a professional appearance and manner.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to move throughout the building and assist staff as needed.
