About the position

The Front Desk Supervisor at Aimbridge Hospitality plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest service and operational efficiency at the front desk. This position involves assisting the Front Desk Manager and/or General Manager, maximizing room revenue, and maintaining high standards of guest relations and hotel operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Front Desk Manager and/or General Manager in daily operations.
  • Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy rates.
  • Monitor V.I.P. and special guest requests.
  • Review Front Office log and Trace File daily.
  • Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations.
  • Ensure timely logging and delivery of messages, packages, and mail.
  • Maintain knowledge of rates, packages, and promotions.
  • Perform all duties of Front Desk Agent as needed.
  • Assist in training new hires and current associates.
  • Ensure all guests are checked in/out efficiently and courteously.
  • Maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow associates and departments.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and planning.

Requirements

  • At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state required.
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work well in stressful high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to show initiative in job performance.
  • Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
  • Effective problem-solving skills in the workplace.
