About the position

The Front Desk Supervisor at SDC Properties serves as the primary point of contact for guests and owners, ensuring a high level of customer service and efficient front desk operations. This role involves supervising front desk staff, managing guest inquiries, and resolving complaints while also training new hires to uphold operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage front desk staff to maintain an efficient operation.
  • Participate in the training, development, and evaluation of Front Desk staff.
  • Manage phone activity and respond to guest inquiries.
  • Take immediate action on customer service complaints and resolve them within scope of authority.
  • Greet and register guests, providing prompt and courteous service.
  • Create and change reservations in the Property Management System (CRMS).
  • Assist front desk staff in preparing check-in and check-out materials.
  • Maintain effective cash management operations daily.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance and Housekeeping regarding guest requests.
  • Inspect the Aquatic Center for safety and functionality when time allows.
  • Attend weekly meetings with management to evaluate performance and objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Three years of customer service experience required.
  • Background in hospitality and timeshare industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of timeshare operations and vacation ownership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and computer usage.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide superior customer service and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Ability to lead and supervise subordinate staff.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.
