About the position

The Front Desk Supervisor at The Westin Dallas Park Central is responsible for leading the Front Office team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing the daily operations of the front desk. This role involves greeting guests, overseeing the registration process, and addressing any guest concerns to maintain high service standards. The supervisor will also promote marketing programs and manage room assignments based on guest needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and leadership to Front Desk associates.
  • Ensure consistent quality customer service is delivered.
  • Greet guests with a friendly and sincere welcome.
  • Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system.
  • Confirm pertinent information including number of guests and room rate.
  • Promote Crescent and brand specific marketing programs.
  • Select appropriate rooms based on guest needs.
  • Code electronic keys and confirm room number and rate nonverbally.
  • Provide welcome folders containing room keys and other relevant information.
  • Close out guest accounts at check out.
  • Negotiate compromises in the event of guest dissatisfaction.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience as Front Desk Supervisor in a large full service hotel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
