About the position

The Front Desk Supervisor at Residence Inn Hunt Valley is responsible for assisting the Front Desk Manager and/or General Manager in providing exceptional service to guests before and during their stay. This role focuses on maximizing room revenue and occupancy while ensuring a friendly and efficient front desk operation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Front Desk Manager and/or General Manager in daily operations.
  • Provide attentive and courteous service to all guests.
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy rates.
  • Monitor V.I.P. and special guest requests.
  • Review Front Office log and Trace File daily.
  • Ensure timely logging and delivery of messages, packages, and mail.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Set the standard for guest relations at the Front Desk.
  • Perform all duties of Front Desk Agent as needed.
  • Assist in training new hires and current associates.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Experience in cash handling and financial data management.
