About the position

The Front Desk Attendant at Arco Fit Gym & Wellness serves as the welcoming face of the fitness facility, responsible for creating a positive and memorable experience for members and guests. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, effective communication, and a commitment to the gym's core values and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests with enthusiasm and warmth as they enter the facility, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or requests promptly and courteously.
  • Assist with membership inquiries, sign-ups, and account management, ensuring accurate and timely processing of memberships, payments, and other administrative tasks.
  • Answer phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner, providing information about facility amenities, programs, and services as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk area, including stocking and organizing promotional materials, membership forms, and other resources.
  • Act as a liaison between members and management, relaying feedback, concerns, and suggestions to ensure continuous improvement and member satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate coachability and a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures, actively seeking feedback and implementing suggestions to enhance performance and contribute to the success of the team.
  • Responsible for maintaining all spaces and striving to keep them looking new.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with members, guests, and coworkers.
  • Energetic, outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional service and creating positive experiences for others.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor under pressure.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems; familiarity with fitness center management software is a plus.
