About the position

As a Front End Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers at the Willowbrook store. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers in locating products, providing solutions to their inquiries, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. You will be expected to engage customers about the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, facilitating their enrollment in these programs. Additionally, you will educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, helping us gather valuable feedback to improve our services. In this role, you will also assist with various Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Your duties will extend to participating in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining planogram (POGs) standards throughout the store. You will be responsible for completing merchandise recovery and maintenance tasks, including handling merchandise returns and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized. Performing Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned will also be part of your responsibilities. Safety and compliance are paramount, and you will be expected to support shrink and safety programs while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies. Interacting with customers and team members in a respectful and positive manner is essential, as you will serve as a role model for other team members. You may also be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production, allowing you to assist in that area as needed. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support store operations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in shopping the store.
  • Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience.
  • Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store.
  • Maintain store recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises.
  • Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
  • Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, completing enrollments.
  • Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including merchandise return/go back process.
  • Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs for compliance.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting the organization's vision and values.
  • Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
