About the position

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated Front End Angular Developer for a contract position in Jersey City, NJ. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Angular and related UI frameworks, focusing on web application development and design. The developer will work on scalable solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables while collaborating on multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable solutions using efficient design patterns.
• Handle non-functional requirements such as performance and SLA.
• Design and develop web applications using Angular, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
• Identify improvement areas within the application and implement changes.
• Work on rendering large datasets and data fetching using HTTP and authentication.
• Ensure high quality levels in all deliverables.
• Adapt to team requirements and collaborate effectively.

Requirements

• 7+ years of overall experience in UI development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular or related UI frameworks.
• Proficient in HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of the banking domain, preferably in Global Markets, Financial Risk, or Treasury.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Ag-Grid, HighchartJS, NgRx, and Node.js.
• Aesthetic capability with UX design experience.
