The Front End/Assistant Department Leader is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service while assisting the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals. This role involves supervising the Front-end department's daily operations, ensuring a safe and clean environment, and maintaining quality assurance standards. The position emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to company values.

Responsibilities

  • Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customer return.
  • Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals.
  • Monitor established quality assurance standards.
  • Direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the Front-end department.
  • Support day-to-day functions of the Front-end operations.
  • Assist with the execution of best practices and Front-end standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
  • Retail or Customer Service experience

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Management experience
  • Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing)
