About the position

The Front End Department Supervisor at Lowe's is responsible for leading a team of associates to ensure a superior customer experience at the store's front end. This role involves coaching, training, and managing performance while collaborating with other supervisors and managers to meet operational and safety objectives. The supervisor also conducts safety walks, reports hazards, and may occasionally open or close the store.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Coach and train associates on store operations and safety protocols.
• Monitor and ensure adequate stock levels in collaboration with front-end and back-end operations.
• Conduct safety walks and report any hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage performance and delegate daily tasks to associates.
• Communicate with management regarding concerns, issues, and employee morale.
• Occasionally open or close the store or serve as manager-on-duty.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams.
• Experience in training, mentoring, and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a retail setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure as required by law.
