About the position

The Front-end Supervisor at Ralphs is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service while achieving sales and profit goals. Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment for customers.
  • Achieve Front-end performance goals and best practices.
  • Drive the department to reach sales and profit goals.
  • Monitor established quality assurance standards.
  • Direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the Front-end department.
  • Execute best practices and established standards for the department.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration among associates.
  • Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated.
  • Maintain records and paperwork for compliance with company and federal regulations.
  • Manage cash control, sales, and records for the store.
  • Assist in preparing the store/department budget and profit/loss reviews.
  • Develop and implement a department business plan to achieve desired results.
  • Create and execute sales promotions in partnership with store management.
  • Monitor and control expenses for the department.
  • Maintain awareness of inventory and stocking conditions.
  • Ensure department associates are compliant with training standards.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Reinforce safety programs and identify unsafe conditions.
  • Practice preventive maintenance on equipment and report issues.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports, completing performance reviews.

Requirements
