About the position

The Front-End Designer/Developer at Asembia LLC is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying user interfaces for web applications aimed at both internal and external clients. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced environment, focusing on user experience and interface design.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features
• Identify and implement best UX/UI practices for various website types
• Develop complex websites and integrate them with proprietary eCommerce platforms and Content Management Systems
• Optimize websites for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Animate HTML using CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript plugins
• Optimize images and videos for quality and file size
• Manage and prioritize projects and timelines
• Document and demonstrate solutions through documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and code comments
• Stay updated on development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment
• Adhere to HIPAA compliance and safeguards during job functions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• 3+ years of experience in Bootstrap, jQuery, and jQueryUI
• Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, and SQL Server is a plus
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, HIPAA/HITRUST and security is a plus

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Greensock
• Skilled at communicating and collaborating with development teams
