About the position

Protiviti is seeking a Front-End Developer specializing in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to join our dynamic Digital team in Salt Lake City. This role is pivotal in partnering with clients to address complex business challenges and deliver impactful solutions. As a Manager, you will not only be responsible for developing strong relationships with client personnel but also for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products. You will act as a mentor and coach to Consultants and Senior Consultants, guiding them through project work plans and fostering a collaborative team environment. In this position, you will collaborate closely with design and development teams to define and implement innovative solutions that enhance product direction, visuals, and user experience. Your passion for front-end application development will drive you to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies. You will also play a key role in promoting a positive team culture, encouraging open communication, and creating development opportunities for your team members. Additionally, you will be involved in preparing client proposals and strategies aimed at winning new business, while working with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. Your responsibilities will include translating business requirements and UX designs into technical specifications, building reusable AEM components, optimizing performance across devices and browsers, and ensuring brand consistency. You will also be tasked with evaluating and interpreting data, establishing professional networks, and effectively communicating AEM-related issues to client executives. Leadership experience is essential, as you will conduct performance appraisals, mentor team members, and coordinate efforts across teams to motivate and drive success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to solve complex business problems and provide impactful advice and solutions.
  • Develop lasting relationships with client personnel through quality product delivery.
  • Mentor, train, and coach Consultants and Senior Consultants to facilitate successful project completion.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Promote a positive team culture that fosters open communication among all engagement team members.
  • Create development opportunities for team members, including training and improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in the preparation of client proposals and strategies to win new business.
  • Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.
  • Translate business requirements and UX designs into technical specifications.
  • Build reusable, user-facing features with AEM components for future use.
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers.
  • Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
  • Evaluate, summarize, organize, and interpret data.
  • Establish and cultivate business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives.
  • Translate and communicate AEM issues, risks, or challenges to client personnel, including executives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in JavaScript web development, app development, AEM, or a related field, preferably in professional services or the digital industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding business requirements and UX design, validating feasibility, and translating them into technical requirements.
  • Proficiency in translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Experience in building reusable, user-facing features with AEM components.
  • Ability to optimize components for maximum performance across a variety of devices and browsers.
  • Strong understanding of graphic standards and brand consistency.
  • Leadership and direct supervisory experience, including conducting performance appraisals and mentoring.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
