About the position

The Front-end Developer position at Securekloud involves leading incident response and resolution efforts, particularly in eCommerce/Retail applications. The role focuses on optimizing monitoring systems, managing deployment processes, and implementing automation to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in incident management, platform support, and DevOps practices, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and problem-solving in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response and resolution efforts, including major incident coordination.
• Identify root causes of incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Set up, configure, and maintain monitoring systems.
• Create and manage alerting rules and thresholds to identify issues proactively.
• Identify and reduce unnecessary alerts and system noise.
• Optimize monitoring tools to focus on critical events and eliminate false positives.
• Manage the release and deployment process, ensuring minimal downtime and risk.
• Automate deployment pipelines, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Coordinate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment workflows.
• Implement automation to improve release processes.
• Develop and maintain performance and incident-related metrics and reports.
• Create executive-level reports to track the health and performance of the systems.
• Use data analysis to drive process improvements.

Requirements

• Overall 8+ years of experience with 3+ years of experience in eCommerce/Retail applications.
• Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on incident management, platform support, infrastructure automation, and DevOps.
• Application production support knowledge and proven debugging skills.
• Experience with configuring and managing cloud services.
• Proficiency in using monitoring and alerting tools like NewRelic (preferred), Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Datadog.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) and DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.).
• Strong understanding of incident & change management frameworks and tools (like ServiceNow).
• Hands-on experience in setting up and managing CI/CD processes and tools including GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Performance Testing of web applications.
• Knowledge of Shopify platform or e-commerce systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
