About the position

The position at Bank of America involves developing and delivering complex software requirements to achieve business goals. The role emphasizes ensuring that software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements while maintaining design integrity and ease of integration. The job also includes mentoring other engineers and promoting best practices in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD).

Responsibilities

• Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
• Mentors other software engineers and coaches the team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack.
• Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle.
• Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
• Automates manual release activities.
• Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).

Requirements

• 5+ years of strong development experience in Angular.
• 2+ years of development experience of .NET C#.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise web-based applications.
• Excellent knowledge of Angular (16+) and web technologies including TypeScript, Node, NPM, NgRx, CSS, SASS.
• Proficient in using testing tools such as Cypress and JEST.
• Good understanding of Accessibility.
• Experience of working with Agile methodology.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and SOLID design principles.
• Experience of using Jenkins, SonarQube and Ansible CD tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge and understanding of Identity and Access Management.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, Cloud Identity, Active Directory, design and architecture of authentication services.
