About the position

As a Front End Developer Co-op at IBM, you will engage in various aspects of the software development lifecycle, focusing on creating high-quality software that meets client needs. This role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and flexibility, allowing you to work closely with designers and other developers to build responsive and engaging web applications. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to Open Source communities and be supported by mentors in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, elegant, and engaging web experiences using modern technologies.
• Collaborate with designers to implement wireframes and improve user interfaces.
• Participate in an Agile environment to understand requirements, design, code, and test applications.
• Support applications for clients and ensure high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• Skilled in UI Development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of one or more technologies: Node.js, React, Vue, Angular.
• Familiarity with automation testing frameworks.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 months experience in UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• 3 months experience in web development using HTML and CSS.
