About the position

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Front End Developer to support a Fortune 500 manufacturing client in India. This role is crucial for the Application Development team to deliver successful outcomes for business stakeholders. The developer will collaborate with Software Development teams and Product Owners to understand requirements, provide development and maintenance support, and participate in Scrumban ceremonies. Daily tasks include analyzing technology and source code to resolve application issues, implementing solutions, and independently organizing and developing user requirements during sprint periods.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Software Development teams and Product Owners to understand project requirements.
• Provide development and maintenance support to the project team.
• Participate in Scrumban ceremonies as a developer and technical specialist.
• Analyze and solve technology and source code issues to rectify and prevent application problems.
• Implement and suggest solutions to problems using the technology and architecture of the systems.
• Organize, plan, and develop solutions for user requirements during sprint periods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and technical training.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Angular (Client uses version 18).
• Good understanding of Angular core features such as Dependency Injection, Reactivity, and Change Detection.
• Experience with writing unit tests in Angular.
• Familiarity with SOLID principles.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Good analytical and technical abilities, along with organizational and conceptual skills.
• Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively without face-to-face interaction.
• Understanding of SCRUM and development/testing tools like Jira, VersionOne, ADO, ALM, TFS, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to express complex technical concepts clearly.
• Exposure to Agile and DevOps development methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with PrimeNg or similar UI component library.
• Knowledge of recent Angular features such as signals and deferrable views.
